Hi All,
Trying codecharge as a tool to use, can't get around this error to see
if codecharge is something I would like to purchase. Testing with Vista
SP1, MDSE (MS-SQL 2005), Codecharge 4.0. Any ideas. Also, can't get the
connection string to build, have to type it in, not sure why they have a
prompt button but does not return the string. I would think this is a bug.
Thank you,
Paul

This looks like an MSDE configuration issue. Can you connect to the
intranet/internet database?
If you can connect to the intranet/internet databases then check the MSDE
configuration to make sure
that it accepts TCPIP connections and not just NAMED PIPES. I believe that
out of the box,
MSDE only has NAMED PIPES configured. You should also enable mixed mode
authentication.

I can see my tables in the specified DB, so the connection on the app
creation is working.... just not when the app is running in the browser,
which is IE 7.0

The fact that you can connect and see the tables just means that the account
that you are logged
into the machine with has access to the database. You are probably using
"Trusted Connection" on your
server. It doesn't mean the account that the web server is using has
permissions.
Two other things:
1) Can you post the whole error message. This message is pretty generic and
can probably have several
different meanings.
2) What server model are you using? ASP.NET? If it is ASP.NET make sure that
the ASPNET user
has access to the server.
Did you run all of the MSDE set up scripts to add all of the users and
permissions to the server?
