Hi All

I have 1 form which pulls info from 2 tables. There is a field called 'status' that appears in both tables. How can I update both tables when the status is updated via the form?

Cheers

There are probably several options in CCS:

- In your 'Record', use the Custom Insert property (and builder).
- Add Custom Code to either the Before Insert or After Insert events for the 'Record'.

Or instead,
- add a Trigger in the db...

Just suggestions from a noobie :-)

As you state 'pull info from 2 tables'I expect them to be JOINed, which forces you to use CustomUpdate.
Let CustomUpdate do the work on the main table, then Event->After Insert you could easily do an update of the secondary table, in code form, as you still have the components available to you.
