Hey Folks,

Trying to upgrade a 4.3 app to 5.1, and it isn't going very smoothly. Can't FTP any changes to my sever, so I decided to try and build a new page via application builder, and it is also not working for me.

Just wondering if anyone else is seeing this issue? If so, I'm wondering if u know of a work-around or if a fix is in the works.

TIA and Best Regards,

Regarding the FTP under Win 8.1 it seems the concensus is to remove IE11, but I'm on Win 7 so can't know for sure.

When you say the application builder isn't working, do you mean with FTP, or in general? What is working, and what isn't?

Thanks

Eric

Hello, eratech, and tyvm for the reply....

I mean in general. I click on the 5.1 application builder, and nothing seems to happen at all.
It just sits there, not doing anything.

Best Regards,

Just downloaded the latest, greatest updates to Windows 8.1 from MS, and the FTP upload "looks" like it's working, but not sure if anything is actually happening. (Will have to logon to my server and see). Not only that, but when I click on Application builder, nothing seems to happen.

BTW, this is an old 4.3 project that I'm trying to update to 5.1, and I'm wondering if that could have something to do with both problems? Guess only time will tell.

Another new problem is that, after the update, quick publishing has stopped working. My biz partner is starting to get really upset that I'm not having any progress with CCS. :/

Best Regards,

When I click on a builder, it brings up the builder screen, but the datasource dropdown has just a thick black line, no tables listed. I have WAMP on a WIN 8.1 machine. With identical setup (as much as I can) on Windows 7 64 bit machine, the datasource dropdown lists all tables fine.

I am on the latest CCS available on the website.

Any others having this trouble? I am really regretting having upgraded now.
