In this discussion, I gather that the higher the number of a group, the more control the group is granted. Am I correct?
I don't understand the logic behind high numbers vs. low numbers?
I'm seeking to create individual access controls for people based on placing individuals into Groups. I’ll need the freedom of creating a new group that may have less access than a group that I created in the beginning which may have the current highest group number.
If I have groups 1 -25 which may have any given “Group Name”, I may want to create a Board of Directors group, for example, later which will only have VIEW access. Meanwhile group 10 may be CEO who has full control in the system.
Also, I’d like to have a random alphanumeric number as my group ID.
Am I misunderstanding how to use groups?
THANK YOU!
