I recently completed an online database project for a client using a program called . During development, I became frustrated with many of its limitiations and bugs. I had already committed a great deal of time implementing the project using that tool, but now I want to make the switch to something more robust.
I don't mind investing in another development tool but I'd like to know what I am up against if I make the switch to CCS. I downloaded the demo but did not get to use it much as my trial expired before I had time to get into it.
Does anyone have experience with both and CCS? If so, what is your take on the comparison between products and how much of a learning curve will I face with CCS? How much more powerful is CCS in terms of functionality?
Any input would be greatly appreciated!

Well, I see that references to that "other" software are all deleted from my post, which makes it hard to ask for comparisons, so I will just ask this: How easy is it to jump into CCS and how powerful is it?

It all depends on what you like and dislike in a development tool - I don't think that you will be disappointed. In my opinion there is no such thing as the perfect tool for everything but there are tools that are pretty close. I think that codecharge studio is a great tool. It fits my programming style and I am doing great things with this tool.
I would reccomend that you download the tool and give it a try. Is there room for improvements yes (tell me what product doesn't have room for improvement) but Yes Software does listen to its users, just checkout the wishes forum. If you go back to the first postings some of the wishes asked for have been implemented in the current released 3.0 version and I wouldn't be surprises to see more wishes implemented in the future.
Also check out the winners of the Codecharge 2004 Developers awards and also checkout the showcase forum. Also, here are some other links you might want to look at. www.dataobjx.net and http://www.gotodon.com/ccbth/Client/SignUp.asp .
I am almost positive that Codecharge Studio will be a tool that you can add to your toolbox of development programs.
One thing I forgot to mention is that I came accross Codecharge by looking at the postings at Hotscripts.com and I have been a Codecharge Studio fan ever since (2003+). I actually purchased it for my personal business before I recommended it at my regular day job and boy did I make a splash with it. I was so excited that I even wrote an article for dataobjx.net magazine ( http://forums.codecharge.com/posts.php?post_id=53667 ). I could go on but you must make the final decision. Enjoy!!!!!
