I wrote a response to a user who was having a problem with codecharge and was basically explaining how i was first hooked to DB Qwiksite becuase it seemed easier to use until i took time to actually learn codecharge. Now my response does not make sense because the word [DB/qwiksite] is edited out and i cannot edit it.

and more, i even doubt that it is edited as having these words in a forum
will make it better googable.
But as I said: I cannot see it being edited, which doesn't mean it is not.

I started using and it was really easy to use. Much easier to use than codecharge, but after taking time to learn the basics of this great app, i must admit codecharge is the only program which allows you to create applications so fast, which work perfectly.
My only problem is that even when using it as a frontpage add-in, the code generated still has that annoying "generated by codecharge" message and the codecharge meta tags. Its really annoying and i had to figure out a way to get rid of it which i did. Will post on forum.
I swear i wrote [DB/qwiksite] after the word using. Maybe i am seeing my own things. . just checking.

Oh the forum sieves out the word [] and i think its for a good reason. Just type the word in the quotes and post, it will be gone. No problem with that, i just think that www..com and www.db/qwiksite.com just checking what happens. And here is the word on its own, . Lets see....

I find it pretty LAME that other products cannot be mentioned in the forum. I've pretty much already decided to buy CodeCharge but I don't like or agree with a company philosophy censors their public forums.

For example, Irons/peed designer is censored, DB/Qwiksite is censored, lets see, errmmm ms frontopage, dreamweaver, flash... i think only those two.

The forums filter out any keywords/products that had been previously advertised or spammed here. This doesn't include only similar products. Certain keywords kick people out of the forums completely - otherwise I'd be busy just removing spam every day.
If we added more restrictions, for example by allowing only CCS users to post here, then I could remove all other restrictions and no such measures would be necessary.

Curiously, though, the NNTP side doesn't filter them out. I see all the
'trigger' words from my newsreader.
"Certain keywords kick people out of the forums completely" Then I'll have
to watch what the $%#% I say. :)

supercruise,
glad you get the purpose, as I was fed up by all the spam in the past.
This has been discussed in the Forum subject, I think.
Peterr, apparantly it works, spam is minimal at last.
Don,
We do always watch what we say, don't we.
I remember correcting our threads due to foreigners (me) using English with
correct syntax but double meaning.
<grin>
